Since becoming the downtown Spokane "Duck Hero," Joel Armstrong's life has changed considerably. We interviewed him on August 19th to find out just what kind of notariety has come his way since he helped a mother duck and her 10 ducklings get safely from their nest to the Spokane River.

GU Women's BasketballEight members of the Washington women's tennis team will begin their 2008-09 seasons this weekend at the SMC Invitational, hosted by St. Mary's College. The tournament begins Friday, Oct. 10 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Korth Tennis Complex.
