Mount Spokane is located in the Selkirk Mountains and has a 13,919 acre park. The 5,883 elevation receives about 300 inches of snow annually. In 1912, Francis H. Cook constructed a road to the top of the mountain, which lead to Mount Spokane becoming a popular ski area by 1950.
There are 12 camping spots on the mountain with water and restrooms available for each.
Summer: 6:30 a.m. to dusk.
Winter: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Campground closed Sept. 15, reopens May 20.

Check-out time: 1 p.m.
Quiet hours: 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
The following general fee information is not customized for each individual park, so it’s possible that not all fees will apply to Mt. Spokane State Park.
Standard campsite: $15
Utility campsite: $21
Primitive campsite (accessible by motorized/non-motorized vehicles) and for water trail camping: $10
An additional $3 fee (standard) or $5 fee (utility) may be charged for select premium campsites at some parks.
Maximum eight people per campsite.
Second vehicle: $10 per night is charged for a second vehicle unless it is towed by a recreational vehicle. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated campsite or extra vehicle parking spaces.
Dump stations (if available): Year-round dump station fees are $5 per use. If you are camping, this fee is included in your campsite fee.

This 10,000 acre camping park has the beauty of being nestled along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers. There are 16 campsites and 16 utility hookup sites with running water and electricity. The campground is located in the Bowl and Pitcher area of the park. For reservations, go to www.parks.wa.gov or call 1.888.226.7688
There are also two group camps available for large camping groups. Each group site has 13 utility hookup sites with water and electricity and two areas that accommodate 30 or 60 people. The two group camps are reservable year round by calling 1.888.CAMPOUT or 1.888.226.7688.
